Feature Orientation

To make the most of your Customer Portal installation, some administration is required. Depending on which features are enabled and which configuration options are applied, you may see some or all of the areas below.

Logging In

Log into customer Portal using your email address and password provided by an admin of Customer Portal.

Field Usage
Username (1) Log in with your registered email address.
Password (2) Passwords must be set up by an admin. If you don’t know your password, use the Forgot Password link (if it’s available) or contact your Customer Portal administrator to request access.

Language Selection Pane If multi-language is enabled, the desired language may be selected prior to login.

Accessing Customer Portal features

Upon login, at-a-glance reports are displayed with your transaction history. At-a-glance reports are available for Orders, Invoices, Payments, Deliveries and Credit Memos. Other features may be accessed from this page, as detailed below.

Company Logo (1)  
Menu (2) Navigate to reports, bill payment, placing an order, and other Menu Entries using the provided Menu, or by pinning Favorites to your menu.
Place Order (3) Allows configured customers to access Order Pad functionality to place their own orders.

Requires Order Pad Application License.
Place Quote (4) Allows configured customers to access Quote Pad functionality to create their own quotes.

Pay (5) Configured customers may pay balance in their configured B1 currency using configured credit card options (see List of supported Payment Gateways
New Service Call (6) Configured customers may generate a Service Call within SAP Business One.
View Cart (7) Configured customers may view their cart contents prior to checking out.

Requires B2B Marketplace with Order Pad Application Licenses.
Search (8) Search the B2B catalog for collections or items.

Settings (9) View account-level details, and access account functions like Change Password and Logout.
Account Balance (10) Configured customers may see their account balance within the settings pane (9).
Breadcrumb trail (11) When accessing features within Customer Portal, a breadcrumb trail is displayed, allowing customers to easily navigate to recently viewed features.
Report View Settings (12) Configured customers may view advanced report settings such as Report View Layouts and Exporting to Excel.
