InterConnect Manager Add-On can be used for Employee Portal administration tasks, including:
Users and Roles can be maintained in SAP Business One, allowing employees to easily access relevant information.
Menus and Reports can be configured, granting employee users access to Grid, Pivot and Chart reporting.
Dashboards can be configured for Employee Portal users, granting access to easy-to-digest widgets.
In addition to the above standard Employee Portal features, advanced features can be accessed with named user licenses:
With optional named Sales User license, employees can access advanced Sales User features such as placing customer orders, Available To Promise, Delivery Signature Capture. See Sales User Administrator’s Guide for more details.
With optional named Expense User license, employees can access advanced Expense features such as creating Expense Claims with autmated GL determination, import Credit Card details into Expense Claims, as well as the ability to perform admin tasks like managing bookings. |Dashboard (4)||Dashboards are core to Employee Portal. Out-of-the-box, Sales User dashboards are provided to allow sales people, sales managers, and sales executives to see relevant snapshots of company data.|
|Add New Lead (5)||If enabled, new Business Partner leads or customers can be added from Employee Portal. Requires a Named Sales User license.|
|Customer Search (6)||Displays all customers who the current sales user can place orders for. Requires a Named Sales User license.|
|Place Order (7)||Allows a Sales User to place an order on behalf of a customer. Requires a Named Sales User license.|
|Place Quote (8)||Allows a Sales User to place a quote on behalf of a customer. Requires a Named Sales User license.|
|Delivery Details (9)||Displays outstanding deliveries, and their signature status. Requires a Named Sales User license. Requires advanced configuration to support Signature Capture.|
|Layout View Menu (11)||If applicable, saved layouts may be selected from this drop-down. Saved Layouts allow for the same report to be viewed differently, as configured by the user or admin.|
|Export (12)||This button allows for the current report to be exported to excel format and saved to the user’s local desktop.|
|Advanced Options (13)||If enabled, report layouts can be created, edited or deleted form this menu.|
